As children learn and grow, the abulity to see them grow, brings joty. Everyday is a new adventure with a growing child. Children are very innoncent and their ability to unknowingly make your day is what adds joy.
This is a very key statement, not all children are able to learn and grow in the same manner. This is similiar to the assignment on assessing and measuring children. We must allow children to learn and grow in the way that is best for them without labeling them. There is a difference between advancing and pushing a child, versus labeling a child. Child developmemt is so broad we must look at the whole child and teach the way the child can learn.

I would like to send my support and thank you to Lousia L. Your blog was very insightful and displayed a really true heard for the development of children. I thank you for your post that were very thoughful and provided knowledge for us as we journey through child development. ReplyDeleteI am so touched you thought to thank me out of all of our classmates. I am glad we have been able to work with each other and to help each other through this class.
