Professional Hopes and Goals

  • One hope that you have when you think about working with children and families who come from diverse backgrounds (any format and any length)
My hope for working with children and familes is that we can all come to understand and accept each other differences. I hope that we can allow children and families to implement their ways into their learning, oppose to just having one standard.
  • One goal you would like to set for the early childhood field related to issues of diversity, equity, and social justice (any format and any length)
One goal I would like to set in early childhood is to develop a open communication between families. I would seek to communicate with the children and families daily, seeking to speak on diversity, equity, and social justice.
  • A brief note of thanks to your colleagues
I woud like to thank all of my colleagues for dedicating your time and effort to early childhood, I also would like to say this class was very insightful and for each of you that stuck with it, shows your dedictation to being more educated in diversity, equity and social justice. I hope you continued this journey as we seek to make a difference in each child and families life within early childhood. Again, I say thank your for seeking to help in this field.

  1. Thank you for your blog, I agree that if we all came together to accept and understand each other's differences we would make an impact not only in the education system but in our communities as well. I hope that one day we will be able to see this come to pass. I am hopeful that with so many professionals taking a course like this one it will help bring awareness and help promote social change. I agree this class was very insightful and it was very rewarding to read about the experiences of my classmates. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and experiences.
